Coconut Vendor Showdown

Wazzup, world? It's your boy, Matt, and I've managed to survive the first semester in UWI. As a beginning film student, my first project was to direct a 5-minute short film, WITH NO DIALOGUE. Fortunately, my short film came down to 3 1/2 minutes, which is a good thing!

Of course, making this film wasn't easy. After editing the first shoot, I was forced to re-shoot the entire thing a few days before deadline. But apart from a couple of flaws (one of which I HONESTLY DID NOT NOTICE AT THE TIME), it was worth it.

Anyhoo, enough with the introduction. This is my long-awaited short film, and one of many films to emerge from my sub-conscious. A samurai film with a Trinidadian flavour, this is the short, sweet and self-explanatory "Coconut Vendor Showdown". Enjoy :-)

Very kool concept for a first semester first year student. The soundtrack was well done. Focus on composition more than anything else in the future and you will be fine. Your composition will really let you tell your story with more punch - more detail... Some more thoughts are in my head but I will leave you with that for now.
