Consistent shot-making from all over the court from both men was providing some entertaining tennis, and it looked like Ken Rosewall might finally win a 'Wimbledon' title after all (as recognised under official majors). Rosewall's serve would begin to falter significantly; it became a daemon which he had to fight against for the rest of the match...

  • the grass courts sure has changed. now in the finals only behind the bassline is worn out. here the whole court and especially at the net.
