About the Expert: Josh Kallenberg

Hi, my name is Josh Kallenberg and I'm here at the Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles, California. I've been flying professionally for about 13 years, and now I have the pleasure of flying this Gulfstream G450 which is a lot of fun and exciting. Why do I enjoy flying? There's a challenge. One of the reasons that I got into flying was because I wanted to impress the girls. Did it? Not really. You know, I've tried several different types of flying. Some as aerobatics, and that's some of my favorite -- just don't tell my mom that. What's the difference between a pilot and a jet engine? The jet engine stops whining after it lands. As a pilot you'll realize one of the perks is that you get to eat gourmet meals at gourmet restaurants, such as this bar -- this is as good as it gets. This is the Autobot symbol. Actually, this airplane is going to be in the new Transformers 3 movie. You know, you get a sense of freedom. I can climb, I can descend, I can go over there, or here -- and that's kinda cool too. You feel free. And I think that there's not many things you can do in life that give you that feeling.
