This multimedia documentary is an in depth look at what really happened here on the American/ Mexican Border at the turn of this century. Living on the border details  a small segment of our world. This is a documentary about the plight of the illegal migrant, the vanishing of the last American Frontier, and the collateral damage caused by our own actions, Because of its vast intricacies the border documentary is a mirror for all of humanity to peer into themselves and to show each other how we humans continually act. Full length film (95 min) is available on DVD through my website livingontheborder.com

  • That really hurt seeing my country's flag burning.

  • Lesson: re: Illegal alien (not 'immigrant') Mexican and Central American adults are 'hard workers' and their kids are cute - therefore Americans are cruel racist monsters to not want to allow tens of millions of them to stream over the border and squat in America, while hundreds of millions around the world wait patiently in line to legally immigrate to America.

Then, when they get to become citizens, and 85% vote Democrat, the United States becomes a socialist dump. What's not to like?

  • where can you watch the full thing

  • Nice video Karl thank you for sharing it. I am sure some day things will change, it's easy I think, we have the richest land and seas in the world. I dont live in the border but I have been there on my side and yours, and if you ask people there about their relations long ago -just as you said- they were like a different country sharing everything, and now they miss that so much. My grand mother lived in the border and had the opportunity to see those times. Regards.

  • Nice comment Leslie, I think the same of your Country, we are so different but have many good things to share. Regards.

  • Great video! Thank you for sharing, it's a shame we are so close and so far at the same time, but I am sure things have to change. It's easy, we Mexico and the US have the richest lands and seas in the world.

  • I love the flashing of pictures showing the richness of the Mexican culture and the images of people trying to connect through the border fence.
