Violence in Lebanese camps spreading

Bitter fighting that erupted in the Naher al Bared refugee camp in northern Lebanon entered its third day on Sunday. In the fierce fighting over 120 people have been killed. On Monday the fighting spread to the Ain al Hilweh refugee camp in southern Lebanon. While the Lebanese Army is determined to clamp down and destroy the Palestinian extremist groups, Lebanese officials fear that the situation will escalate and bring them to the brink of a civil war. 06/04/07
