Whoever put your humidifier in doesnt know what he is doing....You never put a humidifier on the return air. It will put moisture right into the blower motor, controls. Bad install.....

plugged trap, inducers do fail (but you'll know it ) have annual servicing and sign up for a maintainence plan, any never worry about a 500 dollar bill again, it's pretty simple. A 200 dollar all parts and labour plan per year is worth it, I'm a tech, and it sucks giving some a 800 dollar bill for a 10-15 year old furnace.

Someone replaced to ckt board? I can hear water in there. Someone misdiagnosed this one. ckt board had nothing to do with it,period.
