@oldschooldrumcorps it's an exercise for upper body control. They do those leg lifts to set their upper body separate from their lower body and then march 8 steps and repeat.

@BrassoMagnus The guy calling the commands is infinitely beyond you in every way. And don't worry, he doesn't work at SCV anymore anyway.

@deltadak I notice a few Monettes in the trumpet section, I am in low brass. I notice that (in our section) Schilke is most prominent

@tydydpony93 Some corps unify mouthpieces, some don't. Usually it's all the same besides upper-split leads (from a trumpet standpoint). I'm not sure how SCV works, though.

@nolliesnaz He could still be a high school student. and there is a requirement to be 18-21 to march Vanguard Corps. for Cadets i'm not sure what age they allow, probably 15-21? I could be wrong about the Cadet aging group.
