em... $22/hr is really alot o.O!!! Wow I would love to get a part time job with that pay! :) My country only pays $4-$6 per hour at max to part-timers...

@afraidlove Yeah, I think if you don't watch the whole show (and most of us don't, lol) you miss out on stuff. I think theoretically it would be interesting to see Chris have a relationship with an older guy (though not one of his teachers/employer) but I don't think that's where they're going with Lucas and his relationship. I think they each have "father" issues and that's what folks are picking up on.

@afraidlove Lucas inherited money from his father with whom he had a bad relationship. That's why he's acting strange and throwing money around. It's not about Chris, it's because Lucas feels guilty/sad he didn't fix his relationship with his dad before he died. Lucas also has issues with money in the past and he's a gambling addict. Lucas is high on the money.
Chris is actually working in his garage now. That's what the $22./hr is for.
Lucas' friends are very worried because of his gambling.
