  • anywhere they sell parrot perches and toys has them. Just do an online search

  • if there is a rescue in your area, a lot of times you can get a really good bird for a lot cheaper. It might be worth looking into.

  • Im planning to get one, what do u think, an umbrella or moluccan?

  • I am involved in parrot rescue so I have had experience with both. Both are loud and needy. Both have to be kept very busy w/ toys but I feel the Umbrella is a little more active. I also feel the Umbrella is a little better of a talker if that is important to you, although neither is a great talker. Both make excellent pets as long as you can give them the time and space they require. Don't spoil them though or you will have a loud clingy Cockatoo.

  • I really dont want to spoil them but its hard not too! but can you tell me what not to do to spoil them please?

  • keep him on a schedule from the beginning that you will be able to keep forever. make sure he has his time with you and also that he has time to play in your cage. If you keep him with you all the time, then when you have to put him in his cage he will scream and when they get going they can go for hours.

  • The dog is pissed. OH NO!

  • ahhaha, CUTE

  • Lol, that is funny. Our Umbrella would probably do the same thing. He likes to take apart things and when he's finished he'll do his happy dance with his feathers all puffed up. It's too cute. I need to find one of these for mine to play with, I think he'd love it.

  • My umbrella loves his boing. The biggest problem is that he loves to climb to the top and sometimes pulls it out of the ceiling where it is held and goes crashing to the floor. Never hurts himself but also doesn't learn his lesson not to pull it out. See him on You Tube at Cockatoo Zorro.

  • Rosie (my cockatoo) + Duda (my dog) + Seal (my other dog) = HELL! :D No, dont get me wrong i love them, but they make soooooooo much noise...

  • hehe

  • Oh that is a cool toy your Cockatoo is playing on at the beginning!!

  • that was so funny

  • Do you mean the voice or the boing? My sun conure loves hers and the higher the better for her. My M2 doesn't seem to like the boing as much as this guy, buy my U2 loves to boing it a lot!!! SO much so I need to get them new ones!

  • This ird of yours must hate your dog! *laughs*
