This style is very effective if learned correctly,i predict 1 day will be taught as an art form as martial arts is today.P,s u have excellent timing and gr8 footwork thus meanin u have to practice this and have some some rythm to it,love this technique i wish i could learn it better , but know plenty of people that know dis technique and tell u rite now and they aint nothin to mess with..

52 blocks is more of a self-defense system, a simplistic, easy-to-learn and pragmatic one for practicity and effectiveness than a martial art, but has a great fitness component. Yet, it's more of a mix between western boxing with concepts of hubud lubu from Flipino kali-eskrima and Wing Chun's chisao/latsao/foksao concepts, but I commend them for they made what was complicated, simple and effective, and easy to learn, a good street defense style for starters to begin the path in self defense art

thats just a silly idea. its like me saying dont bother to learn how to punch. learn how to kick instead because your legs are longer than arms so just kick them before they punch you. i seriously doubt many of you on here have ever been in a street fight. how many of you have ever knocked a guy out with one punch?? a good STREET fighter needs to learn kicking arts, punching arts, ground fighting arts, trapping arts to an extent as well as weapon knowledge.

This is what Professor James preaches. Yeah it's nice to be able to fight 20 men, but it's smarter to train your mind on how to get away from 20 men and die of old age. He's on here somewhere, hit the search button. His jiu-jitsu ain't no joke but he don't think he's superman either.

not really this is not a sport, keep that in mind. the good thing is a good fighter will adjust. some times it's about the man, and not the style.

I couldn't agree with you more. It does come down to the practitioner.

It is always about the fighter...the style chooses you, you don't choose the style.

BTW you still haven't answered my question what that cross block is supposed to be good for ;)

it has a couple of uses, it allows you to close the gap. it also hides your counter since both hands are nutural.
