ive trained close to 40yrs in traditional wing chun alone11yrs in modified wing chun you just started to learn what wing chun is if you look with technic in mind then you will miss it ... look at the principles instead

remember what your looking at this traditional wc not classical wc or modified wc, wt,or vt if you are not familiar with twc then you are not going to understand whats going on, its that simple

@henrysthingamajig I too study wing chun, but im not a master either. You claim this is wing chun because the kicks look familiar? First of all wing chun is like 95% hand motions. And secondly, you claim that the blocking looks like boxing. Then obviously its not wing chun since we have a VERY distinctive blocking technique that is its own. So if they use a lot of kicking and use boxing style blocks, do you honestly think that its wing chun?

@toyhut2 95% hand motions is a chung wai shun concept, yip man's 2nd teacher leung bic had a different point of view wing chun kicks are very different than most system we use them for training purposes but if the opportunity present itself why not use it as for the socalled blocks if you ever wore boxing gloves you would know that doing wc hand " blocks" are not easy so thats why it looks this way but look closer after doing twc you might surprise yourself

Guys...wing chun is not all about chain punching, I saw wing chun kicks in there. So I wouldn't say "oh its not wing chun" if half of you guys have never practiced wing chun before...

Wing Tsun Is a System,every user use it a lil bit diffrent.there are multiple ways to win a situation.the setting of the user is more important than his techniques.great vid,mad comments!
