How do we know that this Iranian was a terrorist? The government says so. They also say he was acting on the behalf of officials high up in the Iranian government, though they haven't said which ones, exactly.

Don't think about the fact that there is no clear advantage to be gained by Iran from this action. Terrorists aren't like you and me - they're illogical.

Good thing our government has never lied to us about anything like this before.

The original complaint, in all it's gooey vagueness:

(actually, it sounds pretty impressive until you realize it's all the govt's say-so, based on the info they're admittedly getting from a paid drug snitch.)

In the "How dare they do this" department, I offer the following as food for thought:

  • What do you think about Glenn Beck? He was isolated and taken out from Fox. Was that a direct order from the very top?

  • @scotthebruce2 That's silly, either-or thinking Scott. Iran is as rational and responsible as most states, and your argument about "a revenge tactic" is based on very little. Saudi funded the Iraqi war on Iran in the 80's, and apparently the Iranians did not resort to terrorism then, so there's little reason to think they are engaged in such an incompetent plot now. And...why would Saudi be the target of revenge for actions of the CIA/Mossad? I'm done here.

  • elliot, I love the line: "quite possibly almost entirely fabricated incident"

    LOL

  • @givebirthathome iran is rational??? as rational as the 13th imam or the book of revelations?

I think this ploy was a revenge tactic sponsored by iran: they are constantly having professors and scientists with links to the nuclear program mysteriously vanished...could be cia or mossad...then again it could be their own ministry of intel fabricating their own false flag.

my point is you have probably no idea who is really pulling the strings or who is even involved.

  • @truthforamerica oh you must be so clever!

  • I think it's very telling that people question what the government tells them more and more every day. It's obvious we've been lied to and manipulated for decades. It disturbs me that young people still look to the government to solve problems. More often than not, the government IS the problem.

  • How's that hope and change working out for ya?

  • So for me, the real question (which I actually don't care a whole lot about specifically) is whether this is more a consequence of some FBI team ginning up a conspiracy because they want promotions, or whether there's a premeditated political motivation behind the accusation.

  • system of a down rocks!

  • If our corrupt bought and paid for banker and corporate whore government is touting this crap that's about all one needs to know that it is a total bunch of Bullshit with a capital "B".
