@EthylMerts This is "Welcome Home Inga Great Gruenschaffen", one of three epsiodes with scenes in the Buffalo-Niagara Falls area shown that season. Most of this one actually takes place in Vermont but it starts in Buffalo. Another was "93 Percent In Smiling", which aired the next week, (12/20/63). The one you are thinking of is "I'm Here to Kill a King", which either was aired 3/20/64, the week after the intended finale of the show, or never aired except in syndication, depending on the source.

There is a $75 million plan being unveiled today for the Central Terminal. Lofts, a green business incubator and rail travel are all part of the mix envisioned for restoring the Central Terminal.

The city's coolest lofts?
Plan could breathe new life into a faded Buffalo landmark

Relying on memory, this episode was set to air just after the JFK assasination. It was titled "I have come to kill a king" or something like that. The title was considered inappropriate and it never ran. I believe they reran something with a less suggestive title.

My great-grandmother worked there as a "car counter". I saw the inside as a 5 year old in '79, and remember it vividly. That was 30 years after she'd retired, in fact we were there one month before the last passenger train pulled away.

Wow! I was a fan, but was only a kid. My brother would get home from college on a Friday night and watch the show with a giant dish of rigatoni and glass of milk, then later go out with his friends. I was 8 yrs old. Love the views of BCT! I went to college in Bflo and rode the train to and from Syr; Dad worked for the railroad so I rode free. Lots of memories of the terminal bldg. I was sad to see how bad it got, glad to see ppl trying to restore her. Good luck and thanks for posting this video!
this is the only section of the episode that i have, the rest did not concern us as it was not related to BCT.

That is my Dad at the bar to the left of Tammy Grimes! He wore at the "depot" and I knew he had been an extra in the show but without Tivo or Dvr and being at that I was less than a month old when this episode aired-I have never seen this footage until now.
My Dad had been dead for more than a decade and getting to see him young and in motion is a real treat, esp. for my husband who never got to meet him.
