Isabella of Spain was lovely titian haired, green-eyed syoung woman with a great deal of intelligence and political acumen. Penelope Cruz would be terrible choice for the role. There are many lovely and talented blonde Spaniards actresses who could more accurately play the role. Isabella became the Queen of Castilla when both Enrique and Alfonso died, and the daughter of Enrique's adulterous wife was declared iilligitimate!

@Elizabeththegreatest True, but she was also filled with compassion towards the natives and refused to recieve Colombus's 'slaves' as slaves and from what I've read sent them back. Also, the Inquisition was'FAR from bad or evil because not only id it introduce the concept of presumption of innocence, it only concerned itself with Catholics. And while I don't agree with her actions expelling Jews and Muslims from Spain, she did it because of politics and to rpevent Muslims from gaining mor power.

I think The whole point of these little shows are to get children interested in history,and even though they sugarcoat it ,that does not make it a bad show. I was reading comments on these videos posted and saw that most people were saying how off it was.and it is true I can tell you from watching (the tudor rose) (major fan of tudors) that some stuff could have been done better but I am glad there made and I thank the person that did for kids might stumble across it and want to learn more.
