well, I differ with you on pressure. as far i have seen his batting I can clearly say. "Pressure" word is not in Lara's dictionary.
I would be happy, if you refer or point some video/match where he was in pressure. :)

Look at the difference in lara when the West Indies has gotten a great start (which is quite rare).
He looks more relax and more agressive doesn't he?
Look at the 2:14 of the video...Lara has 47 runs from 45 balls. The man is not under any sort of pressure.
If West Indies openers could consistently give good starts then Lara would have ended his career with much better statistics.
Cricket is a team sport not an individual game.
