Just a glimpse of what I go through on a daily basis, with or without a permit as a busquer Underground in NYC, NY. Sometimes, they ticket, sometimes harass, sometimes they haul a musician in. This time I got lucky.

(Sound's bad - but I still thought it worthwhile posting for the apparent 'other' reasons :)

Check out the foot stompin'...it's classic! I usually tap my foot when I sing, but the minute I saw the 'herd-cops' approaching my foot started stompin' wildly like a frustrated 7 yr old.

Ah....how I love being interrupted and accused of a crime while singing :)

You don't, it's actually included in our Constitution, little thing called The 1st Amendment - but that day I actually did have one. Either way NYPD does whatever they want. I've been ticketed & sent to court both with and without permits.... NYPD does whatever they want above & below ground ... "Bloomberg's arny" (check daily news for his quote :)
