Beyond Reality - American Idol 8 Recap 2/10/09
Hollywood week is coming to an end. The remaining 72 hopefuls performed their final songs before the judges with a band, backup singers & any instruments they chose to play. The judges deliberated & split the idols up into 4 different rooms. Instead of the usual 2 stay & 2 go they only eliminated one room. Tomorrow - the top 36 will be revealed - some will have to sing for their life. Voting begins on Feb 17th. For three weeks 12 will perform each week. America votes & the top 3 (one girl, one guy & the next highest vote getter) will get a spot in the top twelve. After 3 weeks the judges pick the remaining 3 to round out the top twelve. Then its business as usual.

She's a natural sweetheart and never show her! Hope she wins, too! Now that the narcasistic bikini girl is gone, they pimp that comic, that drama queen guy, and the awful horse-laugh girl to the point I want to change the channel, but I don't for fear of missing Megan perform.

I hate lil rounds and the dude with glasses who has the black guy as his best friend. I know those 3 will probably end up in the top 12 but I dislike all of them!

I think Lil' Rounds is by far the best singer in the competition! No one has a voice like hers!

Adam Lambert and Jasmine Murray are my favorites right now. They're both amazing.

I also like Megan Corkrey, though I'm kind of disappointed they've never shown her much since her audition. I'm pretty sure she was in the same room as Adam though, so she's still in the competition.

I am getting confused about how judges make the cut. The one who got 4 yeses in first audition were cut but the one with split votes were kept. Tatiana certainly fits in that regard. She is not a bad singer but may not be as good as ones that got cut ...

If AI wants drama, they should keep bikini girl :)
