About 7 years ago, I lost 65 pounds which left my skin somewhat saggy, and it's something that's bothered me for several years. And having turned 50 recently, I just felt that I needed to do something. I found myself trying to hide my chin when I was out because I had the sagging in the neck and trying to lift my face. And when I was talking to people because I was just embarrassed-- I felt like I looked much older. I just felt like I looked old. But inside, I'm much younger than I appeared, and I just needed to do something for myself. So, I did some research and had looked into the Smart Lift, and Doctor Sessa was on Channel 7. I was just very impressed. So, I got online and signed up for his seminar and came in, and I was just impressed with the before-and-after pictures and the presentation, and I followed up, came in and had a consultation and, a few weeks later, had the surgery. He just made me feel at ease and explained the procedure, what he was going to do, thoroughly and was just wonderful. He made recommendations on what I have done. He took some before pictures and has followed me through and taking after pictures now, too. He was just great. He just made me feel at home. And within a couple of weeks, I had my surgery. Came in that morning-- the nursing staff here is incredible. Doctor Sessa was incredible. I was here for maybe two, two-and-a-half hours and went home. The first thing that I did when I got home from having the surgery was go to the bathroom and look in the mirror, and I could see the difference instantly. Right then and there. Within 45 minutes of the surgery ending, I could see it. It was instant. And again the next morning when they changed the bandages, and it was just-- it's incredible. Major difference. I had very little bruising. I followed their instructions thoroughly, which I think is very important. But the pain was minimal, which is another reason I went with the Smart Lift, because it's minimally invasive, and the healing time is nothing. I'm just three weeks out, and I have no bruising. I was looking at other type of lifts where they would do them in Tampa, and I just didn't feel comfortable because, number one, the distance; number two, it's getting to know the doctor before the procedure. And from what I understand, when you go to other types of places, the doctor doesn't even see you until the day of the surgery. You just meet with staff beforehand. Whereas here, it was close to home. Like I said, the Smart Lift, which is what I wanted, I didn't want anything major. And he was close. And he was wonderful as far as after my surgery, too. He called that evening to see how I was, and I just felt like they were just a minute away if I needed them, and that was really important to me. I just feel great. The morning after, I just felt so excited and so relieved, and I'm just happy. I feel like I've gone back five years. I just feel like a new person. I'm happy, and I look in the mirror, and I no longer have the desire to pull my cheeks back to see what I'd look like before or after, before and after. My neck, I feel like I've lost years off of that, and it's something I could not have accomplished with just exercise. There was nothing that could fix this besides the surgery. So, I'm elated that I did it. And the little bit of pain I went through was nothing compared to the results. It was well worth it. Everyone keeps asking me what I've done different with my hair, because I haven't told very many people that I've had the surgery, but the people that I have told, they, you know, want to know who it is and his card. I've given his card out and made recommendations. I even have a girlfriend up in Maryland that wants to come down and have him do it. But people that I have not told, they just think I've done something different with my hair, which is what I wanted. I wanted a natural look. Not one to where my face looked stretched or anything like that. So, those are the people that kind of look at me and say, what did you do different with your hair? And I never tell. I'll never tell.
