This week I'm featuring an easy cooking/baking recipe for my apple pie turnovers. These are great to take to a Fourth of July picnic because guests can pick it up and eat it with their hands.

Recipe Ingredients & Supplies:
Puff Pastry
3 Golden Delicious apples
1 Lime
cornstarch
ground cinnamon
nutmeg
salt
white sugar
brown sugar
Non-stick surface for baking (silpat, parchment paper, etc)
cutting board
knife
apple corer (optional)
grater/zester
measuring spoons
2 bowls

  • Thanks for that quick and easy recipe. Have you seen the Artisan 5 minute bread? It's also easy and you can make up a batch and store it in the fridge and just get separate how much you want each day to cook it. It's really good bread. If you'd like the recipe, let me know. Otherwise you can google it (it's a LOT of information, but the recipe itself is VERY easy!!).
