You are right. He sees them as people whose lives are valuable. Another thing I like about him so much is he thinks ALL human lives are valuable, not just American lives.

In his 90 seconds of allotted time he was able to get more of a solid message across than any of the media darling politicians. If you want to know how he plans to do it, do some research. You obviously have the internet, there's plenty of information out there. Gravel is one of the only ones who really thinks about our soldiers as people and not just expendable commodities.
