If you don't like the game or the video, why are you searching for Pikmin, then clicking on this video? If you're doing this all day, then you have no life.

It's a game for anybody who can have fun. I wouldn't recommend it for really young kids though, there's quite a lot of cute little things eating other cute little things. But still, you shouldn't judge a game for being kiddy.
