  • a good man and interview

  • Excellent, Buzz Aldin is a great man!

I would also like to say I appreciate that Mr. Khan allows his interviewees to speak their mind instead of guiding topics with alot of fast questioning. It allows for a better understanding of the person and an excellent chance for them to shine.

    Thanks.

  • Didn't know Buzz was not a test pilot! I guess when you shoot down 2 Migs and are an Ace they'll let you in NASA. man, he's intense, if they faked it, I'd hate to be the one to tell him we were gonna' fake it. Better not have any pencils in your pockets while you told em' ...unless your into that sorta' thing.

  • A great man. They all were. A shame that Armstrong never chose to speak, he was a very interesting and curious man. A Muslim now, I believe. "In the shadow of the moon" is one of the most awesome movie documentaries ever made.

  • @cosmicaxis Cash money. Been there, done that. America is bankrupt. has been since 1933. Most of the people there don't know that though.

  • he's very into mentioning that the moon is dead, no life, no air, no atmosphere DEAD...but the flag was blowing in the photograph which would indicate air and atmosphere. Maybe he's a little to gung ho in trying to convince us of how desolate and dead the moon is.

  • Why did they stop going to the moon?

  • I was there in the room (the cameraman) and his wife jumped up after the interview and said she thought that was the most interesting interview she had heard Buzz give in years. He has talked about going to the moon for 40 years. I felt genuinely moved by this man.

  • I think sane people have to engage these idiotic theories and explain to people that 1+1=2, otherwise many will believe that 1+1=5. It's degrading and unrewarding but it needs to be done. Hat's off to ya.

  • he seems nervous.. it's odd. he has a hard time speaking about what the moon is like. strange.

  • i respectfully disagree, oPod, sir.

punching is both a child's and a man's proper response to outright aggression. that you find aldrin ignorant may speak more of you than him.

he led the way in mastering orbital navigation and how to work effectively in zero gravity.

what makes him a great human?

his ability to think clearly, act bravely, and then tell the rest of us the story, from his heart.

only the best are chosen to explore space,

    for all mankind

  • kind and peaceful??

    please!

he punched a guy in the face just for calling him names.

    Children do that!

i actually heard him speak at a booksigning today and he's kind of ignorant - reminds me of john mccain. he has a very us-vs-them mentality and is a strong military advocate.

also christian, and we all know how "kind and peaceful" christians are. LOL

no doubt he has some serious skills to be able to fly a spacecraft to the moon, but that doesn't automatically make him a great person.
