Here's one set of Model 5 new/unused parts assembled running the first power up test. This siren is made up of parts that were purchased as spares in the early 1980s and never used. I assembled the parts to see how well the siren works. Well it works pretty dang good! I was surprised, though I don't really know why, at how much air this thing moves. Well, duh, it is a 7.5hp siren isn't it? Watch the plastic shopping bag on the box about eight feet away behind the siren when I get it up to almost full RPM. It starts blowing around. You can see my shorts and shirt blowing around when I walk up to it in the middle of the video.

  • 240 volts 3 phase?

  • @gameexpert385 No 240 single phase.

  • This is a 1-phase plugged into a dryer or stove outlet?

  • @MaxxFordham No. It's hooked up to a 50 amp circuit I added in my garage. I run it by turning the breaker on.

  • @vanamonde2

But it's 220-240 volts or so, right?

  • @MaxxFordham It's regular house 240.
