AWESOME idea..! I am an older 'girl' (57), but I still throw on the 'bling' every chance i get. I am very crafty myself but have never done shoes. I have a closet full of plain jane heels and am anxious to try my hand at 'dressing up' my plain janes because of your inspiration...thanks for sharing..!

What do you use to put the spikes on the heel of the shoe? Any glue in particular, or something else? I'm spiking my own pair of heels, and I want to ensure they stay firmly even though the velvet material of my shoe isn't the best foundation. Any tips?
