Virtual Sailor - Battleship Averof

This is the legendary Hellenic Battleship "Georgios Averof" brought to "virtual" life thanks to Virtual Sailor.

The 3D model of the ship was mainly based on a sketchup model downloaded from Google 3D Warehouse. The original sketchup model was built by "Dimitris" and it can be downloaded from here:

averoff is not a capital ship she is a armored cruiser or in world war 2 terms a heavy cruiser her guns are less than 10 inches the minimum size for a battleship or battle cruiser. Though the video was well done and a awesome job of GREECE in perserving the worlds last surviving armored cruiser.

beautiful excellent job! remember most dreadnoughts (her main guns are not on centerline) still burned coal for steam power...thats very many shovels full of coal.../milwaukee
