  • Never let anybody remember you just for Fear and Loathing.

You were a political and social beast - never to be contended with. And you are the reason I am doing what I am doing now.

I really wish I could ask you a question.

Wish you were back on the Owl Farm.

  • @mrganjasmokin

.... you avoided my question, so you obviously do NOT know.

  • Why did Hunter really commit suicide??

  • Thompson will forever be a shining light for millions of us... the whole world over...

  • FUCK YOU,gonzo isnt dead

  • I wish I could hear Hunter speaking in the background. The music seems to be the focus of the video and I found that disappointing.

  • @mcfartson isn't it up to him as to whether he lives or not? How can you dictate what he did and didn't waste and whether his end was "justified". He died as he lived...how he wanted to.

  • A life well lived.

  • I've probably met more "famous" people than most, but sitting down with Hunter for a few drinks and talking politics is stil one of the highlights of my life. It always saddens me that people get caught up in the drug aspect of his life never realizing it was - for him at least - a politicaly reactionary thing. That the even Fear & Loathing was a political diatribe. The man loved politics, he was goddamned brilliant in writing about it. There are few writers who are as incisive and honest as he.

  • @lostcause845 I love hunter S...but No amount of genius..no amount of beautiful pen to paper..no amount eye opening wisdom can justify his end..no matter how poetic his note which, was beautiful in itself, makes the loss of his life somehow worth ending. He was troubled. And with all his talent, he wasted something.
