he's licking his feet because they picked up whatever sweat/salt/dirt is on your body. He's tasting you and finding your skin delicious.

@lekovic199 Calling them carnivores is somewhat of a misnomer. Many strictly diet on leaves and vegetation. Some are predaceous of other insects or tiny reptiles, but they'll only bite if mishandled (as most animals or insects could reasonably be expected to).

this looks alot more like a katydid. i had one as a pet for a few months, they really do have a bit of a personality and for as much as i kno a sense of identification, i would set it on the couch and put my hand and my sisters hands next to it and it nearly always chose mine.

lol one came in my house oneday i live in london i dont know how it got in i saw it on the floor so i thought it was a leaf so i went to leave it then i came back then it move its go a towel and put it over it and stand on the towl and it didint die so i got a pair of siscors so then i cut it in half then it die :)

So cute!! :3 There was one on my back door (which is glass so I could see it's stomach) and it was cleaning itself like that. :D Then it took it's front leg and pulled it's antennae down to it's mouth. :DDD But at some points, it looked like it was spazzing out cause it would randomly wave it's arm about as if it were saying "hello".
