Hi im an indian who cant speak hindi iv only spojen english all my life ... iv always loved japan its a really beaytifull country and i wish to go there and become a citizen .. im still in college after 3 years i hope to go to japan ... but all the indians i know who are in japan are either very rich or very very poor the majority of them dont get good jobs and come back or go to america i wanted to know whether there is any scope for a computer engineer ? and how are indians treated there???

@Japanekie my bus goes past that arcade like every day and i have never even walked inside for a mooch tho i do often see shrines like that along the high street too that i have also never looked in more than a glance as i wander past. shows u that u should have a look when u have time and u might find something cool. @unrested The title is 矢田地蔵大士縁起 (Yata jizou daishi engi) This story is consisted of two picture scrolls and it seems they are showcased in Kyoto national museum.
Those plates are telling the story of a monk named Manmai, who went to Jigoku without actually dying and there he found a monk being tortured, and it turned out that he was suffering on behalf of other sinners there. Impressed, Manmai came back to this world and made a Buddha with flame around, the one you can see in some parts of this video. Btw, nice work as always :)

I've seen this place but I didn't go inside. It was so weird to see it in an arcade. I wish I went in now.

@TubaBuddha no it has nothing to do with avoiding hell. these votives act as a sort of prayer to the gods that mix with shinto/buddhist beliefs. writing your wishes on the back you then hang it with others and they are later collected by monks or priests of the temple or shrine. dont worry i will do more on these later in future jfaqs.
