The recent 12th Malaysian General Elections witnessed the departure and arrival of many Malaysian Leaders.
Some long serving Great Leaders like the MIC and MCA Presidents'lost and won their parliamentary seats respectively but lost their place in the new Malaysian Cabinet and are now just playing the roles of Members of Parliament (MP)in the Dewan Rakyat. To some leaders like Dato'Chong who have served the rakyat so well, they too think that they must vacate their positions and invite new Leaders to take over their never ending responsibilities to serve the rakyat.
Maybe that's what we call "nobody is indispensable" everyone must move aside and let new ones take their rightful places.
However, serving the rakyat can be made from one's own personal capacity also,so it is still up to the individual whether they want to do it or not!
Maybe the "reach" or "quantum" is smaller but the "heart to serve" is there no matter what the status or conditions prevail.
Great Leaders like President Jimmy Carter,Al Gore,Nelson Mandela,Dr.Mahathir etc.. all are still working hard and voicing their concerns and taking concrete actions to make peoples' life better, safer, happier and a great hope for tomorrow!
