They have opened an art gallery in Matfield Green. This was the first time meeting the author William Least Heat-Moon and Ton (language warning) welcomes him in a most unique way. talk about missing the point.... he didnt write about chase county so that people who read the book would decide that chase sounded better than the places that they were from. The idea behind prairyerth is that there is a depth to everyplace, if only people cared enough dig into what is there they would discover it. you can create a "deep map" of any place... I think least-heat moon wrote the book hopeing that poeple who read it, would start to re-discover their own localities.
