@RINGMASTER1118 GarageBand is better?! What on earth are you talking about? Logic is Apple's professional music program, GarageBand is their consumer program. Trust me, I used to use GarageBand, and I got so frustrated because eventually it severely LIMITED my musical abilities. That's why I bought Logic. I've had logic for a year now and I'm still learning things about it, whereas i long ago exhausted garagebands resources.

@jbubzipopsicle Owl City doesn't have it's own sound. That's the style of Electronica. He's not ripping off anyone. It's what you call inspiration.

@liquidgordon If you exhausted garageband's resources you weren't trying hard enough to find more. I've been using it pretty much daily for a year, and I can do some pretty good stuff, but I can't do shit compared to some people...

@jbubzipopsicle Yep. But it doesn't mean I didn't work hard on it. Who doesn't imitate an artist they like when you're first starting something? Music, painting, poetry, whatever. People learn by imitation. This is one of my older songs and my new album isn't going to be so Owl City-ish. I learned a ton from imitating Adam's stuff but now that I have the knowledge I am able to create my own unique sound. My intention was never to be an Owl City clone.
