  • UNA DE MIS PELICULAS FAVORITAS, SOLO PUEDO DECIR QUE A VECES ES ASI LA VIDA, SOME OF MY FAVORITES MOVIES, I JUST CAN SAY THAT LIFE IS GORGEUS

  • Great job!

  • I am getting ready right now to take my six-years-old little brother to see this movie. I am so anxious to see what will he think about it...

  • The director has captured the true essence of Italy, it takes me back to my childhood, visiting my old mans neighbourhood vicino Napoli!

I felt such disappointment for the young boy and his father both excellent actors. The tears welled up in my eyes and I was overwhelmed with pity when the community decided to beat the sunshine out of that rather handsome, youth or young ruffian should I dare to say! Too bad they don't make em like they used too! Oh, those were the days...

  • @sirdavidrush1 Its so true... and you have described so well the emotions derived from this film that I give you my thumb up.

For me De Sica is the best italian director ever known and Alberto Sordi the best italian actor.

  • They can add all the special effects they want but no modern film can come close to this masterpiece in my personal opinon. The storyline alone is so powerful and vivid that it makes your heart melt. The look on the mans face as his bicycle is taken is cinematic realism at its best. The bond of the father and son is one of such emotion you feel your heart ache in sadness and love for the characters. Films like this are just not made anymore and it is sad but true whether you like it or not
