I see this on almost a daily basis. Many people, throughout the years, have either let their birds go or they have escaped. The end result is that the climate in Phoenix is very similar to their native climate in parts of Africa and they have colonized in certain pockets in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area. Sorry the video is sideways...

  • THanks for sharing the vid. I would be a little concerned that the wild guys may have some virus/disease your pet isn't immune to. Otherwise, it's really a neat vid.

  • @kiwibrittie Thank you for passing that tid bit of information on to me. I appreciate it. It's interesting how the can adapt. In northern parts of the United States, several varieties of warm-weather parrots have colonized in extremely cold areas - generally in cities where they have regular food sources from humans.

    Have a great day!

    Jeff Sunner ;)
