  • @301250 Also, Gina Bachauer's rec of Second Concerto is among finest, it should be reconsidered for 1st place

  • @301250

Rach1 - Richter again! Find it on yt and listen, you'll hear

  • @Finesse83.Ya, perhaps I was being presumptuous after all,as there would be many recordings of so many concerti of various composers made by these great musicians, including Richter, under various conductors, labels and so forth of which I have no cognizance except the ones I have mentioned. The reason being that folks over in Europe and the US would have better access to some of these labels some of which are somewhat obscure, at least to us here in the Far East. So my apologies and gratias.

  • @301250 Perhaps Richter's interpretation of Rach 1 under the baton of Kurt Sanderling? Please check out if you haven't already. If you have, then I apologize and please let me know if you find an equal or better version. Thanks

  • WOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!!! GO RICHTER!

  • There are three kinds of pianists: Those who play the notes right, those who artistically shape the right notes, and those who ride the music like it's in their blood. Richter is the last one and his interpretation is fearless. Besides, he's the only who does justice at 4:07 - 4:13.

  • sogni sempre l'irreale.....

    grazie.

  • @thiswastoogood Probably way too late to comment, but... Horowitz did play the Rach 2, I just don't think he recorded it. There's a video of him playing a small section of the second theme of the third movement on youtube.

  • GENIO GENIO GENIO!!! INMORTAL!!!
