@chuckedone That is a great point. When I was a kid, I worked in a shop where someone was using a defective silicone carbide grinding stone that came apart. There was a big piece of the stone that went flying and stuck into the concrete wall. We painted a picture frame thing around it and it was a great constant reminder.

Might be worth noting that a blade spinning around 10,000 rpm and if the blade is not of the highest quality and/or the worker doesn't angle it correctly the diamond segment can snap off and could do serious damage if you are in its rotation path.

With the contour blade I was cutting from about 2 min to 5:45 in the video. I wasn't clear on why to score. Scoring makes it so when the sinks drops in the end you have a controlled break.

The contour blade that I used today was an Urban 5 inch blade. I just cut out 28 top mount bowls and the blade started out at 5 3/16 and after 28 cut outs measured 5 1/16. Not bad!!!
