The Nurse Who Heals

The nurse who heals is every nurse.
Comforting words that lessen the pain.
The nurse's hands are devoted to repair.
The nurse who heals is every nurse.

Some patients in agony, some in sorrow.
Some may not recover, but the nurse is there
like a sunset, to bring warmth and solace.
The nurse who heals is every nurse.

Doctors work miracles in the face of despair
because of nurses who do their good work.
A noble act of sacrifice. A dedicated heart.
The nurse who heals is every nurse.
