Deutsche Bank Launches US Military Veterans Outreach Program

Deutsche Bank Americas CEO Seth Waugh, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Reserve Affairs Dennis McCarthy, and senior members of the United States Armed Forces rang The Opening BellSM at the New York Stock Exchange on September 1, 2010 to launch the Bank's US veterans outreach program, a broad initiative designed to attract, retain and develop former military personnel. The centerpiece of Deutsche Bank's initiative will be Veterans on Wall Street (VOWS), a new organization that will include an employee group to promote career development and support for veterans inside Deutsche Bank, as well as an annual conference and other events open to veterans who are current or prospective employees of the financial services industry.
