Mischievous Monkeys: During the Winter months, small bands of wild monkeys (Japanese macaque) migrate down from the hills to the rural areas of Itabashi, Odawara City, Japan in search of food. The monkeys nibble on Spring flowers such as camellia, but mikan oranges are the main feast. Besides searching for food, the monkeys clamber over houses in search of amusement ---- clothes hung out to dry sometimes finish up on rooftops, after the mischievous monkeys have tired of playing with them!
