Oliver my good man, you seem to have missed the point of the advertisement that many people find the habit of smoking just as disgusting as mould, urine stains, used condoms, dirty nappies, etc. I'd be interested to know what you think of the toilet variation of this ad.

I mean, which would you rather have in your face? Would you rather I blow smoke in your face, or rather I would rub a shit stained, pissed covered baby diaper all over your noggin?

This kinda reminds me of a 16 year old girl I know who will actually search the sidewalk for half burnt cigarettes and then smokes them. 0__o She burns the filter first, but still so desperate and pathetic. It's sad how far people will go just to get their fix.

So true i smoked cig's for 3 years started smoking weed when i quit to help with the cravings (no spin) and after about three months i wasn't smoking anything. I have have the occasional cone now which is like once a month at a party or mates but the best thing is i have no craving for cig's. Before hand i didnt smoke weed so i guess try it if you dont do weed.

And then, once I give them the fag, instead of going the fuck away, they decide that I'm their best friend and they invariably launch into a disjointed speech about Jesus, usually delivered less than an inch from my face and at a volume common to large construction equipment. When I quit smoking, it will be because I've been put in jail for finally snapping and strangling one of those cocksuckers.

What they should do is make television ads where smokers are constantly assailed by stinky, mentally ill, semi-violent homeless people on the street every time they light up, because that's basically what happens if I smoke outside where I live. Some frightening psychopath who hasn't had a bath in years will stop rambling incoherently to himself just long enough to lurch his way over to me and start flailing and shrieking at me to give him a cigarette.

We have a number of really gross TV commercials aimed at smokers here in Australia. It pisses me off because they put them on during lunch and dinner even though only 15% of Australians smoke. I don't see why they can't take their names when they buy cigarettes and then send nasty pictures and videos like this to their email. Why the hell does everyone else have to watch this bullshit? If you're a loser who smokes this crap wont make any difference.

OK My comment was misleading. By the time most people get to the point of injecting it, it's a full-scale addiction with dangerous withdrawals. It does take more than one dose to experience real physical dependence. You are right, everything depends on the person.

I work with an addiction psychiatrist and he says alcohol is the only drug whose withdrawal ALONE can be fatal. If you find a source describing death by opiate- withdrawal please provide so I we can discuss at work. Thanks for replying
