Hello, I do a lot of cycling at night and a lot of the roads I ride are pitch black so what Petzle would you recommend for a cyclist that would fit underneath a helmet?

That would depends on the speed you are going, and your environment (cross country, descent, city, roads...). If you are going fast, we would recommand the ULTRA RUSH headlamp. This is a super powerfull headlamp (760 Lm) that will light up your way very far. It can be adapted with accessories on handlebars or cycling helmet. Yes, you can purchase additional NAO batteries as accessories and easily switch them out as needed. It is also possible to have several extra batteries to replace an empty one and NAO will accept two AAA batteries, to provide emergency light.

I agree, I have to mod my Nao to accept my Panasonic NCR18650B 3400 mAh cells, I would never buy original and expensive and low capacity 2300....

The biggest stupid thing on this light is that it cant take standard 18650 cells

That is completely asinine to only sell spare batteries complete with case for $50+ each.

You should be able to sell just the spare battery for like $15 tops.

Petzl is completely ruining the usability of this fantastic headlamp by trying to screw the customer this way.
