Team Challenge #2: Knowledge vs. Time
This "challenge" will test the knowledge and reflexes of each group as well as how dedicated & committed each member of your team really is. Tonight's challenge will put everyone to the test. Each member of your team will be given a "general" movie trivia question. It is up to your team to decide what "genre" of questions you want to be asked. The choices are as follows: Comedy, Action or Horror. A decision "must" be reached before 6:00 P.M. Just like last week--keep all conversation in your teams "Discussion Room". It is vital that a mutual decision is reached. If no decision can be reached--your team will "automatically" forfeit and the opposing team will win by default. Once your team has made a decision with the "genre" of questions you want to be asked--the challenge will begin.
Note: Because questions will be asked for both teams--one team challenge will begin at 6:00 P.M. while the other will start at 6:30 P.M. If you would be interested in starting your team off first--let me know in advance. If I am not given a notice--a team will be selected at random to start at 6:00 P.M.
Each member on your team will be asked a question related to the "genre" of choice. --With no help-- this member must respond with the correct answer to the question. A time limit of "1 Minute" will begin as soon as the question appears. Each "correct" answer is worth "1 Point". Only "one" question will be given to each team member. If any help is given during the duration of someone else's question--"1 Point" will be deducted from your teams final score.
It is important to note that the "more" team members you have--the better your chances are of receiving more "points". If a member of your team is not present for the challenge--no question will be given and no points will be awarded for that particular question.
The team with the most points at the end of the 2nd Challenge will add $100,000 to their team pot. The team who loses this challenge will face the next elimination ceremony. The losing team must decide which member from their team should be eliminated. On Friday the losing team is required to talk with me "separately" in a "private message" conversation with who they think should be eliminated. The member who receives the most votes will be eliminated from the game.
The elimination ceremony will be "broad casted" on the Movie Reels youtube account on Sunday, January 27th, 2008. An identity system that recognizes everyone who is playing the game will decide who must leave. If a green finger print follows your name--this means you are safe. If a red finger print follows your name--this means you have been eliminated. There will be "one" elimination per challenge.
This challenge will be contested under week #2. There are #8 challenges and #8 weeks in all. The last remaining member in the very end will walk away with his teams pot. Among each team there is a "Mole". He is only playing to ruin your teams chances of winning. If a "Mole" should make it to the end without being voted off by your team--he will win "BOTH" team pots.
