  • @sjnathan100 Yes, it's sad. It seems today like there is deliberate creation of ugliness rather than anything beautiful or uplifting.

  • @copernicus633 It's enough to make you cry when you view not only the entertainment industry but society at large. Our country is slowly being destroyed from within.

  • 1960...

  • So beauitful!!!

  • Wonderful!

The Little Dippers were actually The Anita Kerr Quartette (Singers), I have this song on their 'For You, For Me, For Evermore' LP.

  • @sjnathan100

Well said & well put! THANKS for your insightful comment!

    :)

  • @JubalCalif Unforunately, innocence was lost in our culture a long time ago, especially in the "entertainment" industry. This is from an era that will never come back. It is gone forever.

  • Heavens to Murgatroid! I've been wanting to know the name of this song for such a long time. It's played by a local nostalgia radio station quite regularly but whenever I hear it, I never hear the DJ say the name afterwards. I guess I could have emailed the station...but have just been putting if off. THANK YOU so much for posting this delightful "blast from the past". It's such a beautifully romantic song. You've MADE my day & my week! CHEERS! :-)

  • @rp316117

    How heartwarming! Good for you!

    :-)

  • @spahjrp

How true! Back then we could understand the lyrics & songs were usually about love...or lost love, not about violence, sex & profanity.
