Does that make any sence

@21Assasin They have deployed tanks already a couple years ago, but the mission is coming to a close. However, the armored regiments are still training on the tanks since we are getting the Leo II A4M and A6M for our inventory.

@21Assasin They are deploying 5 of the newly refurbished 2A4s for testing
-
The camoe'd one is a special version for Canada, with the original L/44 gun but all the armour upgrades (but more tailored to IED's then tank vs tank) of the 2A6.

@MegaWolfgang so true, funny how he assumes tank are for afghanistan even though tanks are good and all but pretty ineffective there
-
@21Assasin When the combat mission ends what? You are assuming that we will never fight anywhere again. The tanks will simply be used in Canada on maneuvers until they are needed again, and they will be needed again. The real world does not recognize NDP type self delusion of just offer the enemy a big group hug.

Finally we get them, now can we get the other 200 from the dutch
Is armour hiring at all?

I thought we were pulling out of Afghanistan and now this is saying we're deploying tanks. what's going on here?

@21Assasin Canada is pulling forces out of Afghanistan from their combat mission in summer 2011; however, a non combat mission has been extended until 2014.
