technique is so even - it's incredible. great use of dynamics and color. phrasing is sensational.
the tempo hurts me a little...but it's perfect for the instrument she's playing on.
the overall character lacks a sense of adventure and surprise, but i can live with that. that being said, my heart broke a little when she didn't take the repeat. that i cannot live with. :((((

Dear Tiffany: First of all, bravo for your tempo which is so perfect. I love the way you calm your right hand when the second theme appears at the left hand. As a whole, I very much like the intimate mood you give to this movement. Unlike many pianists who seem to be playing the "Tempest" Sonata, you play the Waldstein....!!
