Moon River (H. Mancini) - cover

Mancini's music is a source of beautiful melodies and a constant inspiration for many musicians. Who does not know melodies like Pink Panther, Peter Gunn, The Thorn Birds, Baby Elefant Walk or this one: Moon River, from the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's, starring Audrey Hepburn. The great Ed Gerhard wrote a fantastic arrangement of this tune, but my interpretation is based on the arrangement of my YT-friend Uli (Mpoiuz). His version is more dreamlike, similar to Ed Gerhard's playing, while I'm playing a bit faster with a more swing walz (bluesy) feeling. I hope you like it this way too! ... Uli, many thanks to you, your arrangement is so inspiring!!! :-))
