Digital clock with about 180 LEDs, realised in assembler with PIC 16F628.
Follwing protocls are used:
- SPI for output to LEDs
- DCF77 for automatic synchronisation with public time
- OneWire for digital temepreature sensor DS1820
- RC5 infrared receiver for setting time and display options with a regular TV remote
- I2C for Real Time Clock circuit PCF8583 (with small batery)

  • hi! very good job!

can I make you some questions?

    - how high is a number?

-how many LEDs did you use for a single segment?

-are they 5mm or 10mm LEDs?

    thank you very much

    eightsydre (from Italy)

  • @eightsydre single segment has 5 LEDs, but 2 LEDs on the edge are common with neighbour-segments

  • Moze neka sema prijatelju?

  • @bansha34 imace moja keva :)

  • @arnaud7380 no velleman, software, hardware and even mechanical plans are my own development. First development and programming the microcontroller was made with mikroelektronika EasyPic (I think I have generation 3)

  • @eightsydre thanks,

    - visible part of the digit is 12 cm, it could be a little bit bigger too

    - 27 LEDs per digit plus point and double point after 2 digits

    - this are 5 mm super bright, I think they have about 2700mCd per LED, for readability on the sunny day, You need something like this

  • Svaka cast

  • Velleman Kit?
