More Information:

• Confrontation (1985) is the follow-up to the self-titled 1984 debut album.
While the previous album had edgier elements, like the rap in "Under The Gun", Confrontation was starting to move away from that style. Because of that, this release is seen as a bridge between the debut and their next (and final) album One Big Day. Like the 1984 debut, most of the songs were written by Angelo, with Laurie Sargent credited as co-writer on half. This record was not a success and would be the last release by the band on Epic Records. Many vinyl pressings in circulation can be found with a gold promo stamp on the back cover, making the non-promo copy more desirable to collectors due to its rarity.
• One Big Day (1988) is the third and final album and was somewhat of a departure for the band as it showcased the more country-rock material principal songwriter Angelo would later become known for. The group disbanded shortly after the album's release.

• Laurie Sargent, along with Dana Colley and Billy Conway formerly of Morphine, formed the band Twineman in 2001.

  • This just brings me back to another place (Boston, my home) and another time (high school) and puts a big smile on my face. What a great song ... even if it makes me feel a bit old. Whatever happened to Laurie Sargent (sp?) and the band? Does anyone know?

  • I can't believe you finally uploaded this video. I remember when I heard this song for the 1st time. I loved it immediately! What a great opening for a song. This tune should be rerecorded acoustically and rereleased. I think it would be amazing, especially if Laurie did it.

  • What a great song! Reminds me of my days in Boston in the eighties. Can't understand why this band didn't go viral at the time, what a voice she has.

  • Been 20 years since I heard this. Songs like this me want to go looking to buy a turntable since I still have all my old albums.

  • I used to drive in my car and play this on tape and sing my heart out.

  • One Of My Favorite Boston Bands!!!!! Makes me Homesick

  • @handdog3 Stu Kimball plays in Bob Dylan's band. The great Laurie Sargent has collaborated with Billy Conolly (Morphine), including a band called Twinemen. I think she still plays shows in the area.

  • I haven't heard the song since.......well, 1984. Outstanding!!!!!!

  • This band was awesome!!! One of my favorite bands of all times!! This song was great live!!!
