Le K fut créé le 4 octobre 1990 au Festival Musiques Actuelles de Victoriaville (Québec) avec le comédien Daniel Laloux. La création française se tint en février 1991 au Festival Futures Musiques avec Richard Bohringer disant le texte de Dino Buzzati. Une précédente version avait été présentée en 1985 avec Michael Lonsdale et le percussionniste Gérard Siracusa. À chaque représentation figurait également "Jeune fille qui tombe... tombe".
"Le K" a été publié en CD avec Richard Bohringer (GRRR) et "Jeune fille qui tombe... tombe" avec Daniel Laloux (in situ).
Au Théâtre de Quimper en 1992, Daniel Laloux avait repris le rôle du narrateur. Un Drame Musical Instantané, producteur du spectacle, ici en répétition, était composé de Jean-Jacques Birgé (instruments de synthèse, trombone, voix), Francis Gorgé (guitare, ordinateur, instruments de synthèse) et Bernard Vitet (trompettes, anche, piano). Le scénographe était Raymond Sarti, le luminariste Jean-Yves Bouchicot.

Le K has been created on October 4th 1990 at Festival Musiques Actuelles of Victoriaville (Canada) with actor Daniel Laloux. The French creation took place in February 1991 at Festival Futures Musiques with actor Richard Bohringer saying Dino Buzzati's text. A precedent version had been presented in 1985 with Michael Lonsdale and percussionnist Gérard Siracusa. Every show also featured "Jeune fille qui tombe... tombe", another short story by Buzzati.
"Le K" has been published as a CD with Richard Bohringer (GRRR) and "Jeune fille qui tombe... tombe" with Daniel Laloux (in situ).
Here rehearsing at Quimper Theatre in 1992, Daniel Laloux was back on the role of the narrator. Un Drame Musical Instantané, who produced the show, was then Jean-Jacques Birgé (synth, trombone, vocals), Francis Gorgé (guitar, computer, synth) et Bernard Vitet (trumpets, reed, piano). Le scenographer was Raymond Sarti, the guy on the lights Jean-Yves Bouchicot.
