Boar hog struck by our strike dog in a growed up pine thicket. Bayed him by hisself for a while before the other dogs could get to em. He got cut down pretty good and put em out for about 3 weeks. This one had some nice CUTTERS on em!

  • Good Vid. Question Tho. Why didnt you go ahead and kill the boar right away? I usually slide a knife in em when we get control of the hind legs. Did you wanna keep it alive?

  • well we usually just tie em up alive and sell em. but the prices have dropped so we killed him later to mount his skull.

  • well it just depends on how far the hog is from us when we turn the dogs out and how thick the area is where one might be. there's alot of factors that determine how long it takes our dog to find em.
