I have known girls with the nickname Joey...from Joanne or Josephine or something similar, but this boy's name is JOSEPH...or, Joey for short. I named him, silly. There are tons of Joey's in the United States: Joey Zimmerman, Joey McEntyre, Joey Lawrence, Joey Tribbiani, Joey Harrington, Joey Fatone. It's a very common boy's name here.
